John Jarratt is an Australian-born film actor who appeared in a number of Australian TV specials and movies before a starring role in the Ozploitation classic Dark Age. However, his most well-known role for both American and Australian audiences occurs in 2005’s Wolf Creek, wherein he plays the violent and sadistic Mick Taylor. He’s reprised this role twice more in a sequel and the television series, as well as in a reported third film. Also of note is his interest to Quentin Tarantino, who has been inspired by Dark Age; he cast Jarratt in his 2012 film Django Unchained
