bmd halloween magazine

Mondo partners with Birth.Movies.Death for a HALLOWEEN magazine issue

Much like the recently resurrected Fangoria, Birth.Movies.Death will also be pumping out a magazine that centers around the new Halloween film, featuring essays and artwork about all things Michael Myers. The deluxe oversized magazine is full-color and features a variety of articles and interviews, including:

Exclusive interviews with HALLOWEEN directors John Carpenter and David Gordon Green
An exclusive interview with HALLOWEEN’s reigning scream-queen, Jamie Lee Curtis
An investigation into the HALLOWEEN Atari game
Character essays on Michael Myers and Dr. Loomis
A deep-dive into the many (MANY) rip-offs that followed in the wake of HALLOWEEN’s success
A look at the cinematography of the legendary Dean Cundy
A giant spread showcasing some of Mondo’s greatest HALLOWEEN posters

The issue is available for pre-order now on Mondo’s website and it retails at $10 with $5 shipping in the US; if you’re from Canada like our other editor, you’re looking at much more expensive distro for about $24. Still, this special edition looks gorgeous and collectors will want to snag this deal.
