At the height of the Second World War, in a Nazi POW camp on a Greek island, prisoners are worked to the bone unearthing ancient artefacts for Berlin. A local resistance movement plans to overthrow the occupiers, and the unexpected arrival of two USO artists could provide the opportunity they need. But even if they successfully expel the German invaders, who exactly will walk away with the island’s valuable treasures?
