Ultraman Great: The core conflict centers on the invasion led by the alien virus known as Gudis. Jack Shindo, an astronaut with the global defense agency UMA (Universal Multipurpose Agency), merges with the giant alien hero Ultraman Great to counter these menaces. Ultraman Powered: Kenichi Kai, a member of the global defense team W.I.N.R. (Worldwide Investigation Network Response), merges with the Giant of Light known as Ultraman Powered to combat a series of monstrous threats emerging on the west coast of the United states.
